Summer has officially arrived, and the energy across the ITF England community is at an all-time high. From historic promotions to intensive tournament preparation, there is an incredible amount of activity happening on and off the mat this month.

Headline News: A New Grand Master for ITF England

The definitive highlight of this month's edition is the celebration of a truly historic milestone. We are profoundly honoured to announce the promotion of Master Kim Anderson to IX Dan, the highest rank attainable in ITF Taekwon-Do.

With this achievement, he officially becomes the 4th Grand Master in ITF England. This prestigious promotion crowns 52 years of unwavering dedication to our martial art.

Shifting Focus to the ITF World Cup 2026

Alongside the recent launch of our new Affiliate Directory, our national focus is now fully shifting toward the ITF World Cup 2026 coming up at the end of September. Our athletes, squad coaches, and management teams are already deep in preparation to represent England on the world stage. Expect training intensities to ramp up significantly over the next eight weeks.


International Instructor Course (IIC England 2026)

We are also thrilled to formally invite all eligible instructors and senior students to the IIC England 2026, taking place in Bedford from 4th–6th September. Training directly under the esteemed ITF Technical Committee is an exceptional opportunity to refine your technique, standardize your knowledge, and connect with the global community.
