ITFE National Team Selections : European Championships 2026

ITF England welcomes applications from ITF England Affiliates to take part in the

selection process for our National Team 2026. These selections will be for the

European Championships taking place from 13th- 19th of April in Maribor, Slovenia.


👉 All selection documents and relevant information have now been sent directly to ITF England affiliates.


📩Please ensure all entries and documentation are submitted via your affiliate only.


Dates & Venues

  • Sunday, 9th November 2025 (08:30 to 18:00)

Westfield Academy, Tolpits Lane, Watford,WD18 6NS

(Patterns and Sparring)


  • Saturday, 13th December 2025 (09:00 to 15:00)

Westfield Academy, Tolpits Lane, Watford, WD18 6NS

(Power, Special Technique & additional patterns and sparring assessments)


Eligibility

All athletes must:

  • Be registered members of ITF England affiliates

  • Submit the required documentation (Affiliate list of athletes, Par-Q from each athlete, Seeding form from each athlete, Declaration form from each athlete, Photo of athlete )


Application Deadline: 23.59 Sunday, 2nd November 2025 (for both selection events).

All forms must be sent to: nationalteam@itfengland.com


Fees

  • £100 per athlete to cover all individual and team selections. Payment must be made by the affiliate to ITF England (no payments from individual clubs).


Coaching Requirements

  • Coaches must be ITF-licensed 1st Degree+ black belts over 18, affiliated with the athlete's club

  • Must sign the ITF England Coaches Code of Conduct

  • Appropriate attire is required


Umpiring

Class B or aspiring B-level ITF England Umpires may apply to officiate via the ITF England Umpire Committee.


Notification & Acceptance

Affiliates will be notified directly by email regarding the results of the individual

selections once the second selections are completed. We would expect all of the

individual selections to be finalised by 15th December 2025. Athletes will then have until 1st January to decide if they wish to accept their selection.
