The wait is officially over! Day 1 of the ITF World Championships 2025 is here, and the focus shifts entirely to the competition mats in Poreč, Croatia. The action starts tomorrow, Wednesday, October 8th, and we are incredibly proud to have a strong contingent of the ITF England National Team kicking off our campaign.
We are sending a massive wave of luck, focus, and fighting spirit to every athlete competing tomorrow!
The day will see our promising Pre-Junior athletes take to the mats, including Alfie Andrews, Francesca Balzama, Jerry Greatley, Ryan Hosking-Potton, Krish Rathod, Sophie Knapp, and Gaby Lear, eager to make their mark. This younger group will be supported by a massive contingent of Junior competitors, including Finlay Brown, Jake Brown, Aidan Clift, Olivier Doniesiewicz, Hazel Downie, Faye Hubbuck, Ruby King, Joshua McMurdy, Jay Pringle, Elliane Reader, Petrus Wessels, Dexter Williams, and Oliver Wright. Completing this exciting first-day lineup are our experienced Adult representatives, Laura Burtle and Nicholas Edmunds, ready to compete at the highest level. We wish every single one of these 22 dedicated athletes the best of luck as they launch Team England into the World Championships!
