On behalf of Torbay Taekwondo Schools, we are delighted to invite you and your students to the South West Open Championships.

This event is built on a foundation of friendship and collaboration. Our goal is to provide a positive, stress-free, and enjoyable environment for all participants. To maintain this supportive atmosphere, we implement a no ringside coaching policy - encouraging students to find their own focus and display their individual sportsmanship on the mats.

Designed for Efficiency

We value your time. Our team is committed to a professional, well-run schedule to ensure everyone gets the most out of their day without the long wait times.

Proven Track Record: Last year, we hosted 290 competitors and completed the entire event by 1:00 PM.
The Setup: We utilize 8 fully matted rings to ensure the competition flows smoothly and quickly.

Entry & Spectators

Competitors: £30 per person (covers all or selected events).
Spectators: FREE. We believe in making the sport accessible to families, so bring as many supporters as you like at no extra cost!

Hospitality at Every Ring

We want our officials, competitors, and parents to feel welcome. To keep everyone fueled, we provide hot and cold drinks plus snacks at every single ring.

A Perfect Weekend by the Sea

Why not turn the tournament into a team-building weekend or a family getaway? The venue is ideally located for a bit of relaxation after the medals are handed out:

The Beach: A beautiful stretch of sand is just a 5-minute walk from the venue.
Accommodation: There are numerous B&Bs and a Premier Inn located within walking distance, making it simple and affordable for clubs traveling from further afield.
