ITF England is delighted to highlight a significant opportunity for our dedicated members to enhance their Taekwon-Do knowledge and officiating capabilities. We are pleased to invite you to participate in two Official ITF Online Courses that will be held simultaneously: the International Umpire Qualifying Course (IUQC) and the International Umpire Adapted Course (IUAC).
These crucial courses are designed to develop and certify the next generation of international Taekwon-Do umpires and those specializing in adapted Taekwon-Do.
Course Dates & Times:
Saturday, September 13, 2025: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (UTC)
Sunday, September 14, 2025: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (UTC)
Both courses will take place online, providing convenient access for participants across England.
Expert Instructors: These esteemed courses will be conducted by leading figures in the ITF:
Master Abelardo Benzaquén, Chairman of the ITF Umpire Committee
Sabum Nim Anabel Vicario, Director of the ITF Inclusion Committee
...along with other special guest instructors who will share their invaluable expertise.
Who Can Participate? The courses are open to dedicated ITF members who meet the following criteria:
International Umpire Qualifying Course (IUQC): Open to red belt and 16 years old and above.
International Umpire Adapted Course (IUAC): Open to 1st Dan and 18 years old and above.
Certification and Benefits: In line with the continuous education program of the ITF Umpire Committee and the ITF Inclusion Committee, successful completion of these courses allows participants to obtain official ITF Umpire certifications:
IUQC: ITF A (4th Dan and above) or B (2nd Dan and above) Umpire certifications.
IUAC: Adapted Taekwon-Do Umpire B certificate (1st Dan and 18 years old and above).
These prestigious certifications authorize umpires to officiate at official ITF events, including major international competitions such as World Championships and World Cups, providing an incredible opportunity to contribute to the highest level of our sport.

Course Fees:
From 3rd Kup to 6th Dan: USD 150
Masters 7th and 8th Dan: USD 105
9th Dan: Free of charge
Payment: All payments must be made through the official ITF platform: itf-books.org
Important Deadline:
Registration deadline: August 30, 2025
Course Language: The courses will be conducted in English.
