European Championships 2026 RECAP: 17 MEDALS FOR TEAM ENGLAND!

he 2026 AETF European Taekwon-Do Championships have come to a close, and what an unforgettable week it has been for ITF England. From the opening ceremony to the final bow, our squad demonstrated world-class technical skill, grit, and sportsmanship.
We are incredibly proud to announce that ITF England has finished in 6th place in the overall medal table, marking this as one of our most successful European campaigns to date. 👉 You can view the full list of medal winners here!
The Final Count
Against the toughest competition on the continent, ITF England secured an incredible 6th place in the overall medal table. With a squad ranging from seasoned Seniors to first-time Pre-Juniors, the team collected a total of 17 medals:

Finals at this level are often decided by the narrowest of margins. Huge congratulations to our Silver medalists:

⚖️ The Officials: A massive congratulations to Mr. Adam Swain, who was recognized as one of only six umpires for their Excellence in Officiating throughout the event. We also thank Master Anthony McKenna for his tireless work on the mats.
