Sbn Sabina Mason, chair of the Medical and Anti-Doping Committee warmly invites all Umpires to attend the upcoming “Athlete Safety and Concussion Awareness for Umpires” education session.
This session will help umpires better recognise the signs and symptoms of concussion and respond confidently and appropriately during matches. Athlete safety is a shared responsibility, and umpires play a critical role in protecting players’ wellbeing on the field.
Attending will also ensure umpires are up to date with current concussion protocols, reporting procedures, and best practice guidelines. The knowledge gained can make a significant difference in preventing further injury and supporting a safer sporting environment for everyone involved.
Below you can find link to registration of the session in English and Spanish. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
