ITF England is excited to officially announce the dates for the upcoming ITF England National Championships 2026.

We are sharing these dates as early as possible so instructors, competitors, and parents can mark their calendars and begin preparations for one of the most important events of the year.

Key Event Dates & Breakdown
Dates: Saturday, 7th November & Sunday, 8th November 2026

Saturday, 7th November — Black Belt Day: All Pre-Junior, Junior, and Senior Black Belts will compete across all categories.

Sunday, 8th November — Colour Belt Day: Open to all White belts through to Colour belts across all age divisions.

ITFE National Team Selection
These National Championships will form an integral part of the selection process for the ITFE National Team, overseen by National Team Coach Master Nicholson. Competitors aiming for national squad selection for upcoming international events are strongly encouraged to attend.

ITF England is pleased to share an official invitation from the AETF Umpire Committee to all qualified officials: registration is now open for the 2nd AETF European Qualifying Umpire Course (EQUC), taking place in Riccione, Italy, from 5th to 7th February 2027.


Following the successful launch of the AETF Active Umpire Programme, the EQUC serves as a foundational initiative to develop highly skilled, confident, and consistent officials across Europe.



Essential Attendance Requirement for AETF Events

As previously communicated by the AETF, umpires wishing to be considered for official appointment to future AETF European Championships must have attended either the 1st or 2nd European Qualifying Umpire Course. ITF England strongly encourages all eligible officials looking to represent at the European level to take advantage of this opportunity.



Course Highlights & Structure

Delivered directly by members of the AETF Umpire Committee and AETF Technical Committee, the course prioritizes practical education and hands-on judging experience:

  • Event Dates: 5th - 7th February 2027

  • Registration Deadline: 15 December 2026

  • Location: Riccione, Italy

  • Core Focus: Practical referee development and intensive, hands-on training across Patterns, Sparring, Power Test, and Special Technique.

  • Instruction: Led by Europe's most experienced officials and committee members.
