Tournament Entry
Competitors
-
Competitors must be entered collectively through Sportdata. This should be completed by the Head of Association, Lead Instructor or Delegate.
-
Clubs/Associations must register as part of an ITF England affiliated association. For example, ETA, AETA, De Silva Taekwon-Do etc.
-
Independent athletes are not permitted and all competitors must register as part of an ITF England affiliated club.
Grade for National Team Selection
Competitors may enter the National Championships at the grade they wish to be considered for in National Team selection, provided they will have achieved that grade by the time selections are made.
Instructors should take this into account when choosing grades during registration. For example:
-
A 1st Kup who is due to grade to 1st Degree may enter as a 1st Degree.
-
A 1st Degree who is due to complete their 2nd Degree grading may enter as a 2nd Degree.
Competitors must be fully prepared for the grade they enter and will be expected to know every pattern for that grade. For example, a competitor entering as a 2nd Degree must know all three 2nd Degree patterns.
Coaches
-
All coaches must be entered via Sportdata as part of the group's overall delegation.
-
A coaching pass costs £10.
Umpires & Volunteers
-
Associations will only be permitted to participate if they provide sufficient umpire and volunteer support. The number required depends on the group's number of participants.
-
All umpires and volunteers must attend the whole event, on both days (approx. 08:00–15:00 and 08:00–17:00).
-
If you anticipate problems (for example, no trained umpires, or travelling with a small team), contact the Tournament Committee by 1st November 2026 to discuss options.
-
The organisers reserve the right to stop all athletes from a group that does not provide the required umpire coverage from competing.
-
More information is on the Umpires & Coaches page.
Entry Payment & Refunds
No refunds (partial or full) will be issued once registration and payment are complete, under any circumstances. This applies regardless of personal reasons, scheduling conflicts, injuries or other unforeseen situations.
-
By registering and paying, competitors accept this policy and are strongly encouraged to review all event details beforehand.
-
Contact the team with any registration questions before making a payment.

Black Belt competitors receive a 5% weight allowance for their sparring division. For example, a competitor in the -50kg division may weigh in at up to 52.5kg.
-
The organising committee may combine or divide categories based on entry numbers.
